School partnerships
The Institute of Education works in strong partnerships with individual schools, clusters of schools and Teaching School Alliances. Such reciprocal partnerships support the professional development of all members of staff and improve outcomes for children and young people.
How we work with schools
To support your priorities, we co-construct bespoke development opportunities for and with schools, drawing on the renowned expertise of foremost educational thinkers at the IOE. We support schools to achieve outstanding learning and teaching, succession planning, collaborative development and to evaluate the impact of your work. All of our partnership work with schools is underpinned by our world class research.
Initial Teacher Education
In ITE we are an 'Outstanding' provider, working with 600+ partnership schools in London, the East and the South-East, in primary, secondary and Employment based routes, as well as School Direct, Assessment only, Teach First routes.
Masters programmes
We offer an unparalled range of 50+ education masters programmes offering more than 250 modules. Both Masters programmes and specific modules can be located within bespoke programmes in and across schools to support your school improvement priorities as well as offering high quality CPD opportunities for your colleagues.
Professional development
From subject knowledge to phase expertise; from curriculum, pedagogy and assessment expertise to specialist centres, the IOE offers a breadth and depth of CPD opportunities available to meet your school's needs.

Leadership development
The London Centre for Leadership and Learning (LCLL), offers a wide range of high quality leadership research and development opportunities which promote new knowledge for and about leadership in educational contexts.
