IOE Bedford Way building
The Green Fund
We introduced the Green Fund in 2010 with the aim of increasing the range of greenery and green spaces around the Bedford Way building.
Although permanent changes can't be made to the listed main building, we can allow temporary fixtures, including climbing plants, which will be most appreciated at the rear of the building above the concourse and the large IOE sign where many graduands choose to take photographs with their classmates and families.
We also hope to transform one of the upper terraces above the Students' Union to a peaceful garden with a seated area for all to enjoy. You can even donate to have a plant or a bench named after a loved one. Please email alumni@ioe.ac.uk to consider supporting this programme.
