Welcome to Institute of Education Press (IOE Press).

IOE Press is a university press based in the Institute of Education (University of London) that publishes books and eBooks to meet the needs of UK and international practitioners, students and scholars while complementing the Institute's mission to pursue excellence in education and related areas of social science and professional practice.  Our publications receive regular attention in the media ensuring that IOE Press is able to position our authors and their work at the heart of contemporary debate contributing to knowledge, developing practice and generating impact.

Most books and inaugural lectures published since 2001 are available as eBooks for academic libraries via DawsonEra, Ebooks Corporation, and Gardners; the latter also supply some retail outlets. IOE Press acquires Trentham Books Limited

We are delighted to announce that Trentham Books Limited has been acquired by IOE Press.

As an imprint of IOE Press, Trentham Books will continue to publish books and journals in education studies underpinned by the values we share of equality, inclusion and social justice. With our combined lists we aim to increase our reach as  a publisher of leading edge education and social science books for the academic and practitioner communities in the UK and internationally.

Dr Gillian Klein, the Publisher of Trentham Books will join IOE Press and continue to commission and develop books and journals for the Trentham Books imprint.
