IT Accounts
All fully registered students (except for CPD) and IOE staff are issued with an individual computing account for the duration of their course or contract. The computing account password is set to expire every 90 days. Further information on changing your password before it expires is available in our Password Guidelines.
Your account will give you access to a range of IOE resources: e-mail, network resources and file storage, VLE, Portal (to remotely access IOE resources) as well as access to our wireless network.
Microsoft Office applications and specific educational and research software are also available from students and staff IOE based workstations. Visit our IT Equipment and Software pages for more information on workstations and software available.
