SENJIT provides a range of training, from one-day courses through to masters level courses on a very wide range of SEND topics, including the National SENCO Award

Short courses

SENJIT short courses can be held in your school, college, cluster or authority on dates of your choosing or you can attend at the Institute of Education (unless stated otherwise) and provide excellent value for money. We work closely with teachers, schools, colleges and local authorities to develop cost-effective and tailored training solutions that meet specific SEND training needs. The SENJIT programme runs through the Spring, Summer and Autumn terms

Postgraduate level accredited modules 

(15 credits) or non accredited option

The aim of the modules is to enable pratitioners to develop and evaluate their knowledge and practice in the field of teaching pupils with a range of SEN. It aims to engage participants in reflective and critical thinking about the relationship between educational research and their own professional practice, learning and settings. Subject to validation:
