Research
CeCeps has an active research culture. Research projects based in CeCeps have helped develop the field of policy studies in education and have contributed to a better understanding of the new modes by which policy is developing through government and its agencies and the new partnerships they form. Work on policy both nationally and internationally is designed to critically review how far particular interventions can lead to greater equality in outcomes.
CeCeps members undertake consultancy and knowledge transfer activities designed to engage with policy-makers and others working in the education sector on a range of themes that can enhance educational practice. We have formed partnerships across a range of sectors both in the UK and internationally. Funders of projects based in CeCeps include the ESRC, Dcsf; DfID, Ofsted, Oxfam and Action Aid.
