- Sosthenes Charles Ketende joined the centre in January 2006 as a Research Officer (Methodology). He works on the analysis of NCDS, BCS70 and MCS data focusing on methodological issues.
Sos has an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He joined the Ifakara Health Research and Development Centre (IHRDC) in 2000 as a Data Manager for the IHRDC's Demographic Surveillance System (DSS) and other studies carried out at the Centre.
Sos's main research interests include survey methodology, poverty and inequality, child education and cognitive development, public health, epidemiology and project evaluation.
