  • Summary:
    • I am a psychologist and my primary responsibilities are supporting the development of generic skills for post-graduate researchers and early-years post-doctoral researchers here at the Institute. I am also responsible for supporting academic staff in developing their skills in doctoral supervision.
  • Teaching:
    • In addition to teaching doctoral researchers on many areas relating to generic skills and researcher development, I also provide teaching on research methods and performing data analysis using SPSS and NVivo. I am also a visiting lecturer in research methods for the School of Advanced Study, University of London.

  • Postgraduate Research:
    • I have two primary research interests: I am interested in issues related to doctoral education, especially psychological issues that can affect doctoral submission. In addition, I am involved in two European projects on traffic psychology (DRUID & SARTRE).
