• Summary:
  • Prior to joining the Institute, I was a Deputy Headteacher in a large North London Primary school. My particular interests focus on early years education, assessment, cross curricular teaching, staff development, mentoring and mentor training, equality and diversity issues and the development of distance learning materials.

• Personal Country Knowledge:
  • I lived in Greece and taught in an International school for eight years, as well as teaching English as an additional language to Greek children.
    I have also lived in Jordan and Iraq. I have family connections to the Middle East and consequently a good understanding of the culture and the region.
