• Summary:
  • I have extensive experience as a lecturer in the FE sector and have worked at numerous inner-London colleges. I have delivered a broad range of vocational and Access programmes to post-14 learners over 16 years in the classroom. I am an experienced teacher educator and have delivered and assessed Train the Trainer, PTTLS, CTTLS and DTTLS courses and managed the teacher education departments at two FE colleges. I have worked in the primary sector as an assessor and quality manager for NVQ Teaching Assistant awards. I have set up and run commercial training departments in the UK and New Zealand. As such I have an interest in international approaches to teaching. Most recently I spent two years with the Ethical Trading Initiative, building a training service delivering capacity building courses and consultancy around the world. I have a research interest in the use of e-learning in widening participation in professional development and training.
