  • Summary:
    • I have taught across all age groups and in three very different subjects; Dance, English and Education. I was a Senior Lecturer and Head of curriculum before I completed my Doktor Anders in Holland on Discourse, Argumentation studies and Analysis. My main interests are: Academic Literacy, Course Design and evaluation, Reading for Writing and Pragmatic Critical Analysis, and Writing in the performing Arts.

      My research interests include:
      • reading for writing, dissertation writing, materials design and applications,
      • negotiating the conventions of academic writing
      • argumentation and the teaching of fallacy theory, criticality and the literature review.
  • Teaching:
    • As well as being the Coordinator for CapLits and the presessional course Leader, my teaching Includes; The presessional Course, Advanced Thesis Writing, Dissertation Writing, Reading and Writing Arguments, and Writing Critically.
