  • I have worked as a language and literacy instructor for adults in Japan, Spain, and the United Kingdom. My interests include SLA, CALL, and discourse analysis.
    
    My research interests include:
    • the use of new technologies and second language learning • the construction of academic and professional text
    • academic writing pedagogy from a genre perspective
• Teaching:
  • I teach on the presessional and insessional courses within CAPLITS and on the module Understanding Professional and Academic Texts within the Foundation Degree. I also contribute to the embedded literacy sessions on the PGCE and various MA programmes
