  • Summary:
    • I graduated with 2(1) honours degree in Computer Engineering from Portsmouth University/UK. Currently, I am working as a research officer at the IOE – University of London, where I am researching together with Professor Diana Laurillard the use of technology-enhanced learning for special educational needs. In addition, I am doing a part-time PhD in Computer Science at Birkbeck College – University of London – where he investigates the use of the new semantic web technology and the service oriented architectures in order to provide an adaptive and personalised lifelong learning environment.
  • Teaching:
    • I worked as teaching assistant at Birkbeck College (University of London) for year one and foundation year levels, for the following courses:
      • Web developing (HTML/XHML/CSS)
      • Database and Spreadsheets (Access and Excel)
      • Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
      • E-business
  • Research Projects:
    • Currently, I am working as a research officer at the IOE – University of London, where I am researching together with Professor Diana Laurillard the use of technology-enhanced learning for special educational needs.
  • Postgraduate Research:
    • I worked on (for 3 yeards) a JISC research project for lifelong learning at London Knowledge Lab: The project envisages contributing to the UK e-Learning programme by developing, deploying and evaluating new techniques and tools that create personalised environment for lifelong learning domain.

    • • Attended FOTE conference (The Future of Technology in Education) at Imperial College, London (3rd October 2008)
      • Attended the Second International Conference on Internet Technologies and Applications (ITA 07) where I did a presentation about Learner Models interoperability. (Wales, September 2007)
      • Attended Lifelong Learning for all conference: e-learning from concept to practice. (London, June 2006).
