  • Summary:
    • I have a particular interest in children and young people with moderate/severe/profound and multiple learning difficulties. I am a Chartered Psychologist and a Chartered Scientist. Previously I was an Educational Psychologist and a teacher in mainstream and special schools and colleges of further education.

    • Research interests: policy and provision for children/young people with severe/profound and multiple learning difficulties; the employment of mnemonic strategies by children/young people with moderate learning difficulties; stress and teachers of children/young people with SEN; challenging behaviour and pupils with SLD; SENCOs' workload, job satisfaction and stress; friendships and peer relations among children/young people with severe learning difficulties.
