Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Studentships
The Institute leads a consortium of four University of London colleges in the Bloomsbury area, which has been awarded Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) status by the ESRC. Our partners in the consortium are Birkbeck College, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
The Bloomsbury DTC offers full- and part-time ESRC-funded research studentships. Studentships are available in the following academic clusters at the Institute of Education:

The closing date for ESRC funding applications for 2013 entry has passed.
