Student profiles

Meet some of our current and recent students.

Teacher training
Aslom Ullah is a graduate in English and Drama. He trained full-time to become a secondary school teacher, taking a PGCE in English.

Bayzid Ahmed is now a secondary school teacher in east London. He took a full-time PGCE in information and communications technology.

James Balcombe is an engineering graduate. He trained full-time to become a secondary school teacher, taking a PGCE in information and communications technology.

Tyrone Sinclair was offered his current job, as a secondary school teacher, while still a trainee with us. He trained full-time for a PGCE in Religious Education.

Vanitha Arulappu grew up in France and graduated in the UK. She trained full-time to be a secondary school teacher, taking a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in French.

Masters degrees
Aisha Dahiru returned to education after having children. She studied full-time for a masters in psychology of education.

Ceri Warwick is a religious education teacher in a secondary school. She trained with us and is now back to study part-time for a masters in religious education.

Ata ur Rehman is a senior civil servant working in education. He studied full-time for a masters in education, health promotion and international development.

Research degrees
Barry Paraskevas Costas is a college lecturer and teaches physical education at a primary school. He studied part-time for a doctorate in education.
