John Adams Hall and Annexes

When coming to stay in a major city like London, its vital that you have a affordable place to live where you feel comfortable and safe.

The IOE Halls of Residence accommodation is about convenience, community and not having to take a bus to lectures in the morning or to go home at night. All of the residences are located 5 minutes walk from the main building, Bedford way and the IOE's Newsam Library-The most comprehensive education library in Europe.

The Institute of Education has over 250 bed spaces for our full time postgraduate students.

John Adams Hall, Woburn Square, Hse 14 Endsleigh Street and  the recently refurbished 9-11 Endsleigh Gardens have a combination of flats, single rooms and en-suite rooms.

Accommodation for 2012/13 Academic session

Complete the 2012/13 application form which can be found on the right-hand side of this page and email it to jah@ioe.ac.uk or post it to the address detailed below for the attention of the John Adams Hall adminstration team.

Full-time PGCE students can only apply for a room in John Adams Hall on a 40-week contract. Some part-time PGCE students may also be eligible to apply , please email jah@ioe.ac.uk for information.

Masters and postgraduate research students can apply for a 50-week contract, and can be accommodated in any of our residences.

If you require accommodation for less than 40 weeks (e.g Erasmus) you will only be eligible to apply for accommodation at John Adams Hall, please email jah@ioe.ac.uk for more information.

If you require a room for less than 28 days  please complete the Short Stay booking form (1-28 days) on the right-hand side of this page or go to the 'Visiting London' page. Short Stay accommodation is available for students, Visiting Academics, IOE staff and Guests.
