Enjoy a wide range of benefits available to members
Benefits and services
We offer a wide range of services to members of the alumni association:
• 10% tuition fee discount on further studies
If you have successfully completed a course at the IOE from 2006 onwards, you can apply for a 10% discount on tuition fees for programmes offered by the Institute. The discount will be levied on the first year of the new programme and not on any subsequent or repeat years, and is valid for five years after you complete your earlier course. The discount only applies to tuition fees and may not be used to cover any other programme costs (for example, residential costs, material or membership fees).
• 10% discount at the IOE bookshop
By joining the alumni association, you can get a 10% discount at the Institute Bookshop, Hammicks. The offer applies to all books on sale, with the exception of those already discounted. The Bookshop is situated in the main foyer of the Institute.
• Library membership at preferential rates
You may borrow books from the Institute Library in a more flexible and less costly manner. For details, please write to us at alumni@ioe.ac.uk.
• More leisure time for less
Get discounts at attractions such as the Alton Towers Resort and Madame Tussauds. For details, please write to us at alumni@ioe.ac.uk.

• Events
We organise events and gatherings for our alumni to enable networking. Guest speakers have included illustrator and children's author Quentin Blake, and celebrated novelist Louis de Bernières (both IOE alumni).
