Graduate Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education (Disabilities of Sight)
This programme will
- enable you to become a reflective practitioner with specialist knowledge and expertise in identifying and meeting the educational needs of children and young people who have disabilities of sight (including learners who have visual and multiple needs).

Teachers of visually impaired children and young people.
Entry requirements
Qualified Teacher Status plus relevant experience in special educational needs (SEN) and enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
How are you assessed?
By coursework assignments, including a portfolio to meet the National Specialist Standards in Visual Impairment, and an assessment of your Braille competence.
Attendance
Face-to-face daytime sessions.
