Our mission is to undertake high quality research, teaching and policy advice on education in developing countries. We aim to promote better access to education and increased standards and outcomes of education for people in developing nations. Our teaching objectives are to train postgraduates to become skilled professionals who can analyse issues of education policy and practice in context. We provide education decision makers clear advice about policy choices, based on evidence and analysis of international education. Our work with national institutes, international organisations and NGOs generates and disseminates the results of high quality research. Our staff have extensive expertise and experience in research and development practice in Asia, Africa and Latin America and undertake research and consultancy work overseas.
