Science educators in the department regularly publish articles in international journals, including the International Journal of Science Education and Studies in Science Education, and professional journals including School Science Review and Education in Chemistry. Mathematics educators publish in internationally recognised journals such as the Journal for Research in Mathematics Education, Educational Studies in Mathematics, The International Journal of Computers for Mathematical Learning and The Statistics Education Research Journal.
Business and economics educators have co-authored a recent book for teachers, and there is a suite of books anticipated in 2009 addressing geography in education, co-authored by members of the geography education team. The development education research centre is responsible for editing the International Journal for Development Education and Global Learning, the first ever academic journal specifically looking at development education and related subjects.
