Reading Recovery: Empowering Schools, Inspiring Teachers

The Reading Recovery national conference offers opportunities for Reading Recovery colleagues to enhance their practice, deepen theoretical understandings and share experiences. There are also seminar opportunities designed for early intervention teachers, literacy coordinators, literacy managers, SENCos, class teachers and head teachers.
 
Session themes include introducing books, maintaining standards and guidelines for Reading Recovery implementation, making the most of Reading Recovery professional development and using lesson records effectively. Sessions for literacy managers and classroom teachers will include managing Every Child a Reader, early literacy interventions and systematic synthetic phonics as part of a rich literacy curriculum.
