The sociology section seminars take place on Tuesdays at lunchtime and are opportunities for staff, students and visitors to give papers or float ideas which are 'in progress'. The emphasis is informal and speakers can explore thinking which is ongoing or try out research ideas. This gives the audience an opportunity to 'see' the workings behind the finish product and to contribute to its development.
