These courses, in addition to providing advanced training in psychology, offer the opportunity to gain Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society.

MSc Developmental and Educational Psychology

Related to the above courses, this ESRC recognised research masters is an excellent foundation for a research career in psychology, either on its own, or as the basis for a doctorate.

Study

The department runs a range of courses, including  the MA/MSc in Child Development, MA/MSc Psychology of Education and Doctorate in Professional Educational Child and Adolescent Psychology  which are  BPS (British Psychological Society) accredited.

In addition the Special Educational Needs Joint Initiative for Training (SENJIT) is responsible for a wide range of outreach courses, many at Masters level, providing professional development for those involved in teaching and related work.
