This module examines the knowledge base and professional skills involved in communication, learning and being together that support relational work with children, young people, parents and professionals. It brings together theories derived from social pedagogy, interpersonal communication and relevant social science and psychological theories, with reference to their application, especially in relation to children in, or on the edge of, care.
