Developing Supervisory and Professional Practice

This two-day workshop is offered as an optional module of the Institute's Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education and Clinical Education Masters programmes. It aims to provide course members with an opportunity to examine, explore and integrate a range of practical and theoretical issues that underpin research supervision and professional practice in the context of workplace/professional/ vocational learning. It will include consideration of different theoretical and practical approaches to 'supervision with opportunities for students to reflect on how these different ideas about supervision can be applied in their own contexts. This module is available as a short course.
