  • study on a flexible basis either at the IOE or offsite with a cohort of students from your school or a cluster of schools
  • transfer credits from courses taken at other institutions, or from an IOE PGCE Programme
  • study accredited CPD short courses and other school-based and accredited local authority-based programmes approved by the IOE.

Entry requirements

A good first degree and a teaching qualification with appropriate practical experience.

How is the course assessed?

By coursework assignments of up to 5,000 words, and a 20,000-word dissertation or 10,000-word report.

Attendance

Mixed mode, including face-to-face daytime, evening or weekend sessions and online learning.
