  • Summary:
    • I have been a primary teacher, advisory teacher and primary consultant for over 30 years. I am a lecturer on, and Course Leader of, the Institute's Primary PGCE Course. My special interests include the development of thinking (cognitive acceleration), science and inclusion. I have created 'thinking programmes' and designed professional development for teachers to enable cognitive acceleration programmes to be implemented effectively. Research interests include: The development of thinking in primary aged pupils. Developing understanding of how pupils perceive themselves as learners.
